やまに

I was in Koide, Niigata to see my friends in March.
It was actually Friday やまに, where we can enjoy the best Yakiniku in Japan there!

Ukraine Days

I've been in Ukraine for a week. I'm here as a superviser to export automotive parts to Germany. It is really boring just going to the office in the morning and have a brief meeting with staff, visiting warehouse, where automotive parts are stocked, everyday... However, for some reason I need to stay here for one more week, this means I can enjoy weekend here in Kiev! My colleague, she graduated from Kiev University, I heard it is the same level or highier than Tokyo University, kindly show me around the town and I, actually we enjyoed a lot! She's really good at speaking Japanese however she's really shy so we talked in English, I'm afraid... She took me not only the major place for sight seeing but some local place as well. After 3-hours-walk, we finally had Ukraine beer! Actually I walked for 3 hours for this :) She said I should stay in the hotel because some Neo-Nazis would have an illegal gathering tomorrow. Is it really dangerous for me? I think it's much better for me to visit another colleague's place and have a beer and Gergean wine tomorrow!

鶏よし & 浅草寺

It's my new year's event visiting Tori Yoshi, one of the best Yakitori and Mizutaki restaurant in Asakusa, Tokyo.

I could not visit there at the beginning of this year because of my biz trip, but I visited there the other day!

Mizutaki is not well known among the foreigners but I have no doubt you would like it. It's a pot cooking served with juicy chicken soup, boil up variety of chicken with the soup.

After having Mizutaki, I always visit Sen So Ji to draw a sacred lot. It was "SUEKICHI" means a little bit lucky this year...

I'll visit Niigata to have a meeting with MLIT tomorrow.
I cannot come back to Tokyo without visiting Yamani !!!

Untouched...

You know, I have been looking for my private natural bouldering fields, rocks whatever since I've started climing at Rock Field in Kozu, Odawara.

Sometimes I walked around Makuyama, Yugawara during the weekends looking for brand new rock which nobody ever touched but I couldn't....
As you know, Makuiwa is very famous place for climbing, bouldering because of its long history and easy to approach and because of that, so many climbers visit this place and always be crowded, I am afraid...

I've been really wanted to find my private climbing place so I've been driven, walked, climbed up the cliff, down the cliff, I've been done everyting I could do to find the place.
And finally I found "Untouched" big rock the other day...

I named this place "Supreme", where nobody ever climed and so many problems I would be able to find from now on.

I did a lot last week...

Returned from Moscow, enjoy snowboarding with my local friends last Sunday.

When I came home on Feb. 16 at night....

I was so much surprised gifts from my family!
Oh, it was my 37th birthday!!!

Cookies was gone when I back home next day, though... :)

Spent busy days reporting my biz trip to customers and my bosses but
after that...

Another gift was there... That was...

Heroin Junkie...

Last night I went to the famous bar in the town to cereblate our success in business! I had Vodka, Vodka, Vodka and Vodka and Vodka with carzy Russian girls, haha!

On my way back to the hotel, one guy, he's sitting on the curve, asked me for something in Russian says "#$%&%''%$#???" I don't understand Russian but thought he's saying something about the money... My colleague passed him 10 yen, he looked happy.

This morning, when I went throuth the place where he was sitting, found something with blood on the ground... Shit, he was the heroin junkie...

Rock Field 36 Chambers!

Brand new boulder problem is now available at Rock Field!
What I call "Rock Field 36 Chanbers" :) is the longest 36 moves boulder problem on 90 degree wall. It's 5.10a so I tried once the other day. It's not so difficult however you need stamina to clear this problem. Last three moves are really tough!!!

Check out this new problem @ Rock Field!!

Makuiwa Climbing!

On Sunday morning, I joined an event, "Makuiwa Clean Up". Makuiwa is one of the famous rock field in Yugawara, Kanagawa, where you can enjoy both lead climbing and bouldering.
Although I knew very well this place, I've just visited there for camping, BBQ (BBQ is prohibited since 2003 in this area) when I was in high school.

Clean up started from 9:00AM till 11:00. I was so much surprised to see that there was so many trashes around the field, I am afraid...

In the afternoon, of course we enjoyed lead climbing and bouldering! Though it's my first time to climb real rock up, I enjoyed it very much and really into it!

Sorry there is only one photo cuz I was crazy about climbing...

Special thanks to Rock Field Crew and OCC menbers invited me to join this event!!!
